Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) has initially issued levelised tariff for wind projects as Rs. 4.61 per unit and depreciation benefit as Rs. 0.38 per unit for projects commissioned between August 08, 2012 to March 31, 2016. Net Levelised tariff was Rs. 4.23 per unit.
However, there has been corrections made in tariff order with regard to changing the Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) to 24.5% from 24%. GERC has revised the gross levelised wind tariff as Rs. 4.52 per unit and Depreciation benefit of Rs. 0.38 per unit. This has resulted in Net levelised tariff for project life of 25 years as Rs. 4.15 per unit.
Hence, the levelised tariff of Rs. 4.15 per unit is payable by the distribution licensee for procurement of wind energy during the control period starting from August 08, 2012 to March 31, 2016, irrespective of whether the accelerated depreciation being availed or not.
